"My love of hunting began at the age of 5 squirrel hunting in the woods behind my grandfathers house. On these many outings is where I truly learned not only safety but the true sportsmanship of what it means to be an ethical hunter.  In the state of Maryland you had to be 12 years old to posses a  hunting license  and without private lands to hunt on that is when I took and passed my Hunters Safety course.  I was hooked and could not wait to get out there on my own.At the age of 14 I harvested my first 8 pointer with a shotgun on public hunting ground that my grandfather & father had hunted on for years. At 16 came my first bow harvest once again a respectable 8 pointer.  When most kids were at the ball fields and with the girls I could not wait for school to be out so I could be out in the woods in my deer stand."
