New for 2009 Parker Crossbows introduces the TORNADO HP Crossbow.

The crossbow market is rapidly evolving, and the modern crossbow design is morphing into smaller lighter and faster models. The Crossbows of only five years ago may already be considered classics. “Our design team at Parker Crossbows has introduced the most compact and modern crossbow in the high performance class of bows. After lunching the innovative Cyclone HP crossbow in 2008, we believe the new Tornado HP crossbow has combined the very best in technology of high performance with the styling demanded by today’s serious crossbow enthusiast. The Tornado HP shoots a 425 grain 20” RED HOT carbon arrow at a screaming 330 feet per second, generating 103 foot-pounds of kinetic energy. With 175 pound limbs, that is enough muscle to tackle the world’s toughest big game animals. The Tornado HP has an ambidextrous auto engage safety that incorporates an anti dry fire mechanism. The G-2 Trigger has a mere 4 pounds of pull and virtually zero creep. The most unique technology is the use of the patented (INV) inverted cams. The INV cams add over two inches of power stroke to the bow with out increasing the over all length of the package. This allows for a 13 inch power stroke, generating the horsepower it claims, while still maintaining an overall length under 31 inches from the front of the limbs the rear of the stock. That is over five inches shorter than some comparable models. The Tornado HP has an axel to axel span of only 19 inches when cocked, making it highly compact and maneuverable for the hunt.

The Tornado package is outfitted with RED HOT High performance strings and cables, a pair of Sims String leeches, an in-line three arrow quiver, and your choice of a 3 x 32 multi reticle scope or a three dot Red Dot sight. Camouflaged with Next G-1 Vista, the Tornado HP is ready to storm into the field.
