Hello Parker CrossBows Makers: I want to share the picture of the whitetail that I harvested this past fall in Ohio. I spotted this buck over 100 yards away and walking downhill away from my cow pasture tree stand. I gave two quick grunts and within seconds this huge 10 point buck came running up over the hill and presented a broadside shot at 35yards. I pulled the trigger on my Buck Buster 150 and the buck did not flinch. Sure that I missed (not seeing my arrow stuck in the deer or the ground) the huge whitetail simply turned around and slowly walked parallel to my tree stand...for about 20 yards.... then to my amazement the huge buck dropped over dead! After careful examination of my kill, it was clear that I had double lung shot him with complete pass thru of my Parker Arrow coupled with a Tekan G-5 Broadhead. I later found my perfectly straight arrow covered with blood and stuck in the bank 25 yards behind the spot where I shot my buck. I then realized first hand the awesome power of my Parker Buck Buster Crossbow for the second time! Yes... the second time.. as I got the same exact results two years ago.... while hunting with my Parker Buck Buster crossbow, Parker Arrows and Tekan Broadheads. Never in my wildest imagination did I think that I could harvest 2 huge whitetails at 35 yards and have them both drop dead within 20 yards of shot impact with complete arrow pass thru! I am now a true believer of "lightning striking twice in the same spot" and my Parker Buck Buster Crossbow as the ultimate weapon for hunting big whitetails! Regards.... T. Greene (01.24.2010) |
