sincere heartfelt thank you...
Dear Parker,

I wanted to send you a sincere heartfelt thank you. I have never been hunting to any great extent till this year and thought I would share with you this story and thanks. My husband is currently deployed with the Army to Iraq. Before he left he was a little upset that our son would not get to go hunting this year. He convinced me to take up their passion of archery to make sure our son would get to have that chance this year. Although I love Venison and have cooked it for a long time, the actually going out in the woods part of hunting was always something I considered outside my comfort zone. However knowing how much it meant to my husband to have our 13 year old son still go out and do this even though his dad would be gone allowed me to go beyond that comfort zone. My Husband purchased a Parker Sidekick XP on a trip to Cabelas and I went through the hunter safety course etc and have now been hunting with him here numerous times. We have our own funny hunting tales to tell and it has allowed me to share something with just my son and myself without having to compete with his sisters. I don't know if he would share the same sentiment or admit that he is out hunting with his mom. The whole teenager cool factor thing there. But it is kinda rather humorous to hear the first question my dear husband asks from halfways around the world being Have ya'all seen anything? Did ya go out today? And to hear my son tell of our adventures out in the woods. So I wanted to say thank you for what you've allowed me to share with my son while his dad is gone and for making us closer as a family even though half a world may be separating us at this moment. It has made it just a little more bearable the time we are apart from each other and it has made a new member to Archery for me. As I have found something to share with both my son and my husband. Thanks you most sincerely for that and I wanted to know how much I have really come to like Archery and hunting through this adventure. I look forward to sharing it next season as well when my husband has returned and we can all go hunting together.

Thank you again,

Sincerely,

Nicole Carroll
