PARKER - It just feels right!
I just wanted to drop you a note of thanks for making such a great product.
For years I have been an avid gun hunter, including small game, turkeys, water fowl and expecially deer. Just in the last 10 years I started hunting with a bow and it's added a whole new excitement and challenge to my hunts.
Over the past 10 years I hunted with mixed success, and often times I felt I was not shooting as well as I could. I had purchased a real expensive bow - on the advice of a sales person. But the bow never has felt right! It felt big and goofy in my hand, sometimes I could shoot great groups, next day I tended to be all over the place.
My cousin has bow hunted for 25 or 30 years, he told me, Larry you need to get a better bow". I told him what the sales person told me about my bow being one of the best on the market, and how much I had spent on my bow and equipment. He said that if that bow does not feel right to you, you'll never shoot well.
So I started a search - going to all my local sporting goods stores - picking up nearly every brand of bow they had. Until one morning last fall when my brother and I went to the new Cabela's in Pennsylvania. I saw a great selection of bows there and the folks were really helpful in directing me the right way.
I purchased that day the FIRST bow I had picked up - and believe me I picked up many - many bows. It was the Parker Spitfire Package. And it was just like my cousin said - From the moment I picked it up it felt like an extension of my arm - a real part of me!
I took it home, added a stabilizer, got some new 29" carbon express arrows, took it to the range and sighted it in for 15 - 25 - 35 yards. And, as my Dad used to say "Proof's in the puddin". I could not imagine I could ever shoot so good. And not only at short range. My groups at 35 were as great as at 10 or 15.
And laying my Parker next to my Mathews - the quality is every bit as good if not better than that bow that cost 4 times as much.
Your production peole should be proud of the bows they build, and all the quality and love they put into each bow.
You can bet when I buy my back up bow it will be another Parker. Parker, It just feels right!!
