Taken with Parker Wildfire XP
Dear Parker Bows,
I just wanted to brag on your product a bit. I went out yesterday for Spring Turkeys here in Missouri with my new Wildfire XP. After calling back and forth to a big gobbler early in the morning, who decided to wander off, I moved to the edge of a glade next to a fence line and a stand of cedars. I set my decoys out, sat down and began to call. Moments later eight jakes came within range.
They had my hands tied, as my Wildfire was in my lap (not the smartest place for it). After they lost interest in my decoys and began to walk away, I was able to roll onto my knees from my original Indian-style position and get a smooth and quick draw on the biggest bird.
The arrow hit its mark, immediately breaking the right wing and severing the spine. The bow was so quiet and fast, the other birds didn't know anything had happened, except that their buddy had fallen and wasn't getting back up. If it were legal in Missouri, I know I could have taken more of those birds.
So, in short, thanks for a great product. This was my first day out hunting turkeys with a bow. People say it's one of the most difficult ways to take a bird, but I feel like my Wildfire XP helped to level the playing field.
Respectfully,
