Steve Bosley

It all started with joining a lease with three of my friends, in southern Ohio. We got numerous trail cam pics of some real bruiser bucks. Three food plots were put in for a better food source. We hunted one weekend in October and we were saving the farm for the rut. My friend was the first in camp on October 28th. He arrowed a 195 inch 19 point on Nov 3rd a deer we were very familiar with and named Big louie. I left on the Nov 4th and arrived in camp that night. Nov 5th was a cold rainy and some snow fell on my morning hunt with no deer being spotted that morning. The bad weather broke around 1:30 and I headed for a stand on the back edge of the farm. I climbed a tree around 2:30 that afternoon. getting my things situated in my tree is was now 2:40. Only 10 minutes went by while looking to my left a hot doe was headed my way and 30 yards behind her was a buck I knew as captain Hook. Just a awesome whitetail who is extremely thick and beautiful chocolate horns. He came in trailing her at 33 yds and stopped, I was at full draw on my Parker Trailblazer centered the pin and released. They both trotted off about 40 yds he looked back and with weak legs fell on his back. The hunt was over and the dream became reality. My buck green scored 183 by a official measurer and im waiting for the 60 day drying period.

Thanks, Steve
